Description

Add our Pouf top to your side table for a dynamic set-up where you can switch between the wooden lid and cotton pouf top.

Made with 100% Italian regenerated cotton and FSC-certified wood.

How it was made

The Pouf Top is made entirely of recycled paper.

For our paper paste items we receive the paper waste from a KM0 recovery plant near Barcelona, then mix it in a blender with water, followed by a moulding process. The product is left in the open air to dry for several days.

The corrugated cardboard is sourced and produced in Czech Republic using recycled cardboard scrap.

All of our paper products are handmade and hold individual character. Please know that as we are using recycled paper, there is a small possibility that the paper paste contains other materials.

LEARN ABOUT Pouf Top

The Pouf Top gets its cushy feeling from organic coconut fibres mixed with natural latex.

LEARN ABOUT THE UNIQUE QUALITIES OF THE MATERIAL

It's paper, how resistant can it be?

One of the primary qualities of paper paste is its impressive strength and durability. Comprised of tiny cellulose fibres, the paper paste forms a solid, rigid mass once dried.

Made with love in Barcelona

A family-owned business that has been working with paper since 1892. Their story started with making toys, dolls and carnival masks using papier mache. More recently, they ventured into developing paper paste products, particularly mannequins. In 2009, the fourth generation owner Martí Pascual met John Penther, who made mannequins for the fashion industry. After a long process of trial and error, they were able to create the first full-body paper paste mannequin together.
